He was born on 29th of November,1933 in İznik by a sign of Hz.Eşref Rumi. He was the unique son and the third child of the family. His family logs down to Bozoklu Han. He is Shariff. He is married and is the father of two children.
He has completed his primary and secondary education in Bursa. He has been graduated from Academy of Economic and Commercial Sciences which is known as Marmara University now, from the Department of Banking and Accounting. He has his MBA on economy at Middle East University .
He did his Military Service between 1957-1958 years at United Nations Army in SOUTH KOREA.
He has been a financial expert and an advisor of some Private Sector Firms. He has been dutied as a director, an inspector, an expert while working for Civil Financial Association, the Vakif Bank and for the State Planning Organization Specialist of Money/Credit and Banking in Economical Planning Department. At first he was dutied as an inspector in Bandırma, later in Tokat. After he left The State Planning Organization he has instituted a business of feasibility researchs. After a few while he was invited back to his duty at State Planning Organization due to work in Economy Planning Department.
In those years, he was writing for Commercial and Economist Magazines of Turkey about planning, stimulation and application. He also has designed the latest written decrees about incitement and application, for EGE Magazine.
In 1989, he has founded the MIHR FOUNDATION which has studies on Islam, modern technology, nucleer physics, chemistry, energy, economy, commercial and business fields and arranges seminers and conferanses to improve these sciences both inside and outside the country. He has been the General President of this foundation since 1989.
He is the editor of the monthly MIHR MAGAZINE which has been publishing since 1992. He is also the founder of MİHR TV and MİHR RADIO which are now online over satellite.
In April of 2000, Shaykh Dr. Iskender Ali MIHR has founded the only and the first "UNIVERSITY OF ALLAH" in the universe, after he had Phd. on Sufism at Columbia State University Louisiana-USA in 1997. He is also the Rector of this university.
He is now preparing a Commentary of Quran consist of 19 bounded books in which each verse is written both Arabic and latin alphabet and explained word by word. This project works paralel to his lectures on Commentary of Quran at the university.
