Who is an Advisor?
The advisor tracks the academic
activities of the student throughout his or her education period. The advisor
also makes suggestions as to what the student shoud choose as an elective
course, as well as the obligatory courses. The advisor also approves the courses
the student decides to take. The advisor also helps the student solev his or her
problems and forwarding it to the authorities.
Assignment of an Advisor In the week following the student's
registration, an advisor is assigned to the student. This cooperation will
continue throughout the student's entire education in the university.
The Duties of the Advisor 1. The advisor records the obligatory
courses in the student's file. The electives should be decided by the student,
and upon the decision, the advisor will record these electives in the student's
file. 2. The advisor is responsible for keeping his or her contact
information current. 3. For any reason, if the advisor will be unable to
perform his or her expected duties, the advisor will inform the Public Relations
Department and the Rector. Another advisor will be assigned temporarily for the
related students, and the Public Relations Department is to announce it to the
affected students. 4. The advisor should follow the changes in the
regulations and use this information for the guidance of the student. 5. The
advisor completes and submits the student evaluation form to the Public
Relations Office at the end of each term.
